Smokey is a former Dusty Paws Rescue dog who was adopted in January 2008 but due to the death of his mom he's back with Dusty Paws Rescue. Luckily his Dusty Paws Rescue tag was still on his collar so the shelter was able to contact us to let us know they had him. Boy, was he glad to see his former foster mom when she came to bring him home. His tail hasn't stopped wagging since. He's always been a happy dog and he hasn't changed.

Smokey is an undemanding, low-maintenance dog. In his foster home he has access to both inside the house and the backyard and is house-trained using a doggie door. He's very playful with the other dogs in the foster home. Smokey is about seven years old and weighs nine pounds.
